The Task:
Each team or individual will create a video clip on the theme: Exploring Happiness. The clip
should be 5 minutes or less and be uploaded to YouTube.
The rules are simple:
1. The film must be shot with a smartphone, ipod touch, or ipad.
2. The film should not exceed 5 minutes.
3. No nudity or offensive language or actions.
4. You can use any software to edit video and audio.
5. When your group shows your film you will have 2 minutes to explain how it
addresses the theme.
6. Remember, this is a reflection of you and most importantly our community.
7. The Film should have your team’s/individual’s name and a title when uploaded to
you tube (examples: “The Happy Donut” by Johnny Law)
Judging Criteria:
You film will be judged on the following:
1. Relativity to the theme
2. Creativity
3. Use of technology
Judging will be done at the event, after we view each film, in an audience polling process.
Deadline:
All videos must be uploaded to YouTube and the link needs to be emailed to epic@sou.edu
by March 6 @ 12:00pm
