Kalmiopsis Wilderness Trail Clean-Up
Join the Siskiyou Mountain Club volunteers this memorial weekend in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness. At 180,000-acres, the Kalmiopsis reigns in as southern Oregon's largest Wilderness Area. Within its remote boundaries flow three pristine wild rivers juxtaposed to a most rugged landscape defined by barren rocky ridges, sharp canyons, world renowned botanical areas, and a couple of mountain lakes.
Hope on the train to preserve these beautiful areas and make them more accessible to all hikers and backpackers this June 1st - 2nd! These trails are being lost without our help maintaining them. So, come out and help our volunteers keep the pristine wilderness areas clean and enjoyable.
